Commitment

We understand that playing club volleyball is a commitment for both the student-athlete and their family in terms of time and money. We encourage each family to explore all the options for club volleyball to ensure they make the best possible decision for their family. In order to make an informed decision regarding club volleyball it is important to know what each club has to offer.

CAPElite Storm is committed to offering families a coaching system and programs designed to provide the best possible value in volleyball, while also helping each player develop as a young woman.

Mission

As you prepare to commit to a club volleyball team, please consider what CAPElite Storm has to offer:

Our mission is to educate each player in the sport of volleyball using consistent teaching methods across all age groups. WE have developed a consistent curriculum so that athletes can build on their skill from year to year rather than re-learn skills each year. In addition, it is imperative that each athlete understand the importance of overall fitness and conditioning, nutrition, injury prevention, making healthy choices and the qualities of character essential to both success as a volleyball player and in life.

In joining with CAPElite, we have developed a comprehensive training program for every student-athlete. At CAPElite’s facility, each player will have volleyball practices and have regular access to a CAPElite trainer who will educate her in the areas of power, agility and conditioning training. Within each practice, each team will work with a CAPElite trainer for 25-30 minutes and have the ability to attend an additional 1-hour session with a CAP trainer during each week.

We intend to foster a feeling of community in which the entire club gathers together to get to know each other and nurture a whole club spirit outside of each individual team. In doing this, players and parents of all age groups can get to know the coaching staff and trainers and vice versa. We will hold several club-wide events throughout the season which will serve to establish and strengthen the relationships we desire to have with each family.

At CAPElite Storm we believe that it is important that each player receive consistent and comprehensive training throughout her volleyball career. To that end, we have established a coaches training program for all of our coaches. In addition, we will seek to provide every coach with the opportunity to attend coaching clinics to be sure that they stay abreast of the newest and best volleyball training techniques. The employment of a Master Coach is designed to aid in the process of developing a consistent program.

As part of the team-training package, players will receive position-specific training, compete with other teams in the club, be involved in the CAP training program and receive the highest level of coaching from our experienced staff. In addition to these opportunities, other camps will be held throughout the year to gain additional experience.

We hope that this will help you make an educated decision for this club volleyball season.
