Club Directors:
Donna Pixley: Head Volleyball Coach at The Dunham School in Baton Rouge. She is entering her seventh year as the head coach at Dunham. In those seven years, her teams have been to the quarterfinals twice, the semi-finals once, state-runners up once and State Champions in 2005. She was chosen as the Division V Coach of the Year in 2004 and 2005 and was selected as the West All-Star Team Head Coach in 2005. Donna has coached for Volleyball Baton Rouge where her team won the 15-and-under Club Volleyball National Championship in 2002. Prior to Dunham, she was the head volleyball coach at Bishop Sullivan for two years. She is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, where she held the record for assists for almost ten years. While attending Samford University, she coached for Birmingham Volleyball Club and Sojourners Volleyball Club.
Beverly Russell: Beverly Hise Russell enters her ninth consecutive season of coaching at Episcopal. She graduated from Episcopal in 1976 and was a member of the first volleyball and softball team. She received a BS degree in Physical Education from Louisiana State University in 1980. Coach Russell was a four year letter winner in volleyball at LSU and was also the captain of the 1979-80 team. After graduating from LSU, Coach Russell began her teaching and coaching career at Episcopal, from 1982-1989. The teams received LHSAA District honors as well as State Division honors each season. In 1994, Coach Russell relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. While there, Coach Russell coached volleyball at Charlotte Country Day School where her teams finished in the NCIAA State Finals or Semi-Finals for three years. She has coached as well as started many Junior Olympic volleyball programs in Louisiana and North Carolina. Coach Russell was also selected to Head Coach the West All-Star Team in the summer of 1988 and 2002 and the Division IV Coach of the Year in 2001, 2002, and 2005.
