ALL-STATE SUGARBOWL/JVA WORLD CHALLENGE
The deadline for securing your reservations in the Red Storm block for the JVA World Challenge is March 3rd. All unused rooms in the block will be released so that we are not charged. Please see the Post below for instructions on how to reserve a room in the block through Advanced Event Systems.
PayPal is now available for tuition payments. Please see the link to the right. Notice that a 3% surcharge had to be applied to cover our costs for use of the service.
** Note: If your 2009-2010 full tuition payment has not been received by the February 15th deadline, then a player will not be able to play in the February 27-28th Red River Classic ( Shreveport)or in the AAU Southern Series (Mandeville). Thank you!
We have rooms blocked off at the JW Marriott on Westheimer in Houston for the Cross Court Classic. This is the same hotel we stayed in last year. The rooms are $126 per night and that includes 2 free breakfast buffets per room. To make your reservation, please call 713-961-1500 or (800) 228-9290 and tell them that you want to book a room in the Red Storm block. The cutoff date for booking rooms is February 26th. After that date, they will release all rooms and the rate will be $269 per night. IMPORTANT: When you call, they will tell you that there are no double rooms available because they have taken them out of the system for us. Every room in our block is a double so you are guaranteed to get a double. If you wish to stay at this hotel, please book your rooms as soon as possible so that they can release any of the doubles that we do not need.

The following teams are entered into the JVA World Challenge which is in New Orleans on Easter Weekend, April 2-4: 14s Black, 15s Black, 16s Black, 16s Red, 17s Black and 18s Black.
We have rooms blocked at the Marriot Convention Center which is directly across the street from the Convention Center. There are a few rooms left for Thursday – Sunday but most rooms are held for Friday-Sunday, which is when most people will need them. There is a showcase for older players who are interested in playing at the next level on Thursday night, April 1st.
In order to reserve your room, please go to www.advancedeventsystems.com and click on Update a Room on the left hand side of the page. The e-mail you will need is sherricook@ymail.com and the reservation number is 8852. You then will simply need to choose a non-colored block and input your information and credit card number. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.
Rooms are reserved for the Shreveport tournament. In order to book rooms, please call the hotel at the number below and tell them that there are rooms reserved under Red Storm. Please try to book rooms no later than the afternoon of Friday, February 5th.
